Synonyms: mighty

Preanalysis assumption: The term occurs 35 times in her poetry, by my count, and most always in so significant a manner that it is obvious that the concept played an important role in her censorial and emotional awareness of sexual reality. In part this may derive from generally inferior physical force of the female vis a vis the male, but in part it is also expressive of a philosophical insight into the allpervasiveness, all-importance of the sexual situation in the universal scheme of things. I would like to skip the analysis, feeling the term is neither symbol nor possessing a strong polarization towards the sexual, but once I start shirking taking all the pains of my research it will mean an inevitable lowering of my sights.
